Brewing guidelines: i) Gaiwan, Yixing pot or porcelain pot ;4-6grams per time (based on personal taste);  the first several times infusion is 95 to 98C degree or 203 to 208F for about15 seconds; then the latter is about one minutes.  

                ii) Glass cup; 2 to 3 grams per time(based on personal taste)’ The first two infusion is about 95C degree or 203F water for about 2 minutes; then the latter is about 3 minutes.

Jiu Qu Hong Mei, aka Nine Meander Re Plum, it is the only black tea from Zhe Jiang province. Zhe Jiang has got 28 famouse teas, but 27 of them are green. It is from 500 meters Da Hu Mountain, the suburb of Hangzhou city, the Peak is a basin. Jiu Qu Hong Mei is a rare black tea, first developed in 1926. The leaves are long and thin and the taste sweet with a hint of dried fruits. This tea produces a bright liquor and has a wonderful fruity flavour and refreshing mouth-feel. This tea is featured by its tight fishhook like leaves with luster black color and brewed in bright reddish infusion releasing freshing aroma, look like red plum in the water, smooth aftertaste lingered.

Jiu Qu Hong Mei is also named "Jiu Qu Oolong". Tea is medium amber in color, clear and smooth texture, sweet fruity taste. The bright red infusion has an appetizing honeyed sweet aroma while the taste is wonderfully smooth. Jiu Qu Hong Mei Black Tea is a rare and famous tea from Zhejiang province of China. It is named for the "red plum” color of its brew. Fully translated to "Nine Winding Red Plum,” this tea rivals other high quality teas since it is pick by the "two leaves and a bud" principle. Its leaves are long and slender have initial impressions of fruity and bittersweet flavors, but then a light melody of floral flavors emerge once it is consumed entirely. It can be enjoyed with sugar and as a milk tea.
