In this study, oxidative damage induced in spleen cells of rats and lymphocyte proliferation measured. Results revealed that sea buckthorn administered cells inhibit chromium induced free radical production and it reduced the chromium-induced inhibition of lymphocyte proliferation. Study concluded that sea buckthorn have cytoprotective properties.
